Beating Texas A&M- Kingsville 100-63 Saturday, the UTPA Bronc women’s basketball team recorded their program history’s third highest scoring output.
The last time the Broncs broke the 100-point barrier was Nov. 21, 2006 when the Broncs scored a program record 110 points against Schreiner.
The Javelinas were limited to 32.1 percent shooting (18-for-56) while the Broncs shot 56.7 percent (38-for-67) from the field and 50 percent (7-for-14) from behind the arc.
The Broncs will start a six-game road trip Tuesday at 7 p.m. against No. 22 Oklahoma State.
