This past weekend the “Visual Communication” class, from Professor Leila Hernandez in the department of Graphic Design, had a small fashion show at the library. The students from that class designed paper dresses that supported the cause against domestic violence.

And yes, if I shall admit, I did have the opportunity to participate in it. It was actually very fun because it was my first time wearing a paper dress. Sadly it didn’t last very long, but trust me wearing paper clothing isn’t easy at all!

I think that what I learned from this is that creativity and fashion could be used even for a good cause.
Anyway, here are some pictures of my paper dress designed by Estefania Franklin.

I hope you like them.

Kisses,

Saira
